Hi, I’m Robby — filmmaker, writer, and creative lead with a hands-on approach and a track record of turning bold ideas into fully realized work.

I write, direct, edit, and produce — but more than anything, I build stories from scratch and find ways to get them seen. My work spans film, branded content, experiential events, and full-scale creative campaigns.

A major turning point came in 2014, when I led the art direction and production for the iii Points Music Festival entrance — a sprawling, cinematic build featuring a halved school bus, a salvaged 737 cockpit, and a post-apocalyptic shantytown. That experience pushed me to quit my job as a licensed boat captain and fully commit to filmmaking and creative production.

From there, I pursued a degree in film, where my thesis short swept the Miami Film Festival’s CinemaSlam Awards and was licensed by PBS — a breakout moment that opened doors. I’ve since written and developed multiple original feature screenplays and TV pilots, and have been hired to adapt memoirs into full-length scripts.

I went on to independently produce, direct, and edit South Beach Shark Club, a feature documentary that premiered to sold-out audiences at the Miami International Film Festival, where it won the Documentary Achievement Award. It later screened at DOC NYC and secured worldwide distribution.

In addition to my own projects, I’ve produced work for other filmmakers, including a recent short that premiered at SXSW — with more on the way. I know how to support strong creative voices, manage lean productions, and guide stories from early development through post.

Beyond the screen, I’ve directed branded content, political ads, and a 10-episode influencer series that helped land a client in Forbes. I’ve also created immersive, themed events like Club Shred, complete with live bands, paid actors, and a full marketing campaign — turning nightlife into narrative.

I founded Secret Deluxe, a creative studio and event space in Miami that supported artists and clients developing unconventional work. Whether it’s a film, a live experience, or something that blurs the lines, I bring story-first thinking, creative leadership, and the ability to turn ambitious ideas into unforgettable work.
